The Blackmagic PYXIS 6K is a full-frame cinema camera built for easy rigging, in L-Mount. It records Blackmagic RAW with precise skin tones and rich colour in a modular, box-style body.

The 36mm x 24mm full-frame sensor has 6048 x 4032 resolution and 13 stops of dynamic range, with dual native ISO of 400 and 3200. An optical low pass filter is matched to the sensor, and the modular design lets you build a rig around the camera, rather than adapting your rig to it.

It shoots 6K open gate at up to 36fps and HD at up to 120fps in several 6K and 4K formats. Recording is to dual CFexpress Type B cards in Blackmagic RAW. This unit has an L-Mount, which takes L-Mount lenses directly and adapts to many other mounts. The box shape works well on gimbals, cranes, car mounts and studio builds, and the body leaves room for monitors, handles and wireless video accessories.
