CineKinetic Original CineSaddle

The CineKinetic Original CineSaddle is a beanbag style camera mount that replaces a tripod and fluid head for low, tight and awkward shots. It is light and compact and grips the camera tightly without a head.

The CineSaddle can sit on almost any stable surface, such as a piece of furniture, a prop, the floor or a camera case, and the camera rests in it rock steady. Panning and tilting is done by hand, so the technique differs from a fluid head, but it works in places where a tripod will not fit. For an eye level shot it can also sit on top of a tripod in place of a head.

It is a canvas saddle about 12 inches square with three pockets, supplied with a shoulder strap, a mounting kit and an instruction manual. It takes cameras from DSLRs to broadcast and compact HD models. It has no pouch, which keeps it lighter than the Marsupial version, and it packs down small enough to travel in a camera bag.
