DZOFILM Catta Ace 70-135mm (PL)

The DZOFILM Catta Ace 70-135mm is a compact full-frame cine zoom in PL mount, and the long lens of the three-zoom Catta Ace range. It holds a constant T2.9 aperture through the zoom.

It is designed for full-frame and VistaVision cameras while staying small and light enough for handheld and gimbal work. The lens gives good image quality and smooth bokeh, and the 16-blade iris keeps highlights round. It suits portraits, interviews and coverage where you need a longer lens without changing it.

It covers 70 to 135mm at a constant T2.9, with a close focus of about 0.76m. The front diameter is 80mm with a 77mm filter thread, and it weighs about 1.7kg. The mount is interchangeable between PL and EF. It matches the 18-35mm and 35-80mm Catta Ace zooms, so the three share matte box and gear positions. It is a light zoom for handheld and gimbal use.
