Laowa 24mm F14 2x Macro Probe Lens (EF)

The Laowa 24mm f/14 2x Macro Probe is a long, slim macro lens that focuses at up to 2:1 and has a wide 'bug eye' perspective. It is built to get into places that a conventional macro lens cannot reach.

The wide angle gives greater depth of field at very close distances than a longer macro lens, and shows more of the background around the subject. The front barrel is waterproof and carries an LED ring light, so the tip can go underwater while the camera stays dry. It is useful for product, insect and tabletop work.

The lens is 408mm long and weighs about 474g. It has 27 elements in 19 groups and a field of view of 84.1 degrees, with a minimum working distance of 2cm at 2:1. The tip is narrow enough to fit in tight spaces and tubes, and the lens covers full frame. This version is for Canon EF mount. Light must be added at the tip, which the built-in LED ring helps with.
