Metabones EF-E Mount Cine Smart Adapter

The Metabones EF to E-mount T Cine Smart Adapter lets Canon EF lenses be used on Sony E-mount cameras with electronic control from the camera body. It keeps the aperture, focus and Exif data working across the mount.

A 32-bit processor inside the adapter supports phase-detect and contrast-detect autofocus, and allows the aperture to be set from the camera. Focus-by-wire manual focusing works, and lens image stabilisation is supported, so a stills-style EF lens behaves close to a native E-mount one.

It has a programmable function button and a switch for in-body stabilisation on select cameras. Black felt inside the adapter keeps reflections down. Smooth iris changes are available on select lenses. It suits a camera where an EF lens collection has to go onto a Sony body without giving up electronic control.
