The RED KOMODO-X is the next step for the KOMODO family, a compact 6K Super 35 global shutter camera with faster frame rates and a built-in micro V-Lock plate. It brings RED's DSMC3 features to the small KOMODO body.

The redesigned sensor improves shadow detail and colour and doubles the frame rates of the original KOMODO. The global shutter removes rolling shutter, so it suits fast pans, vehicle mounts and flashing lights. A reinforced RF mount with a locking mechanism keeps lenses secure.

The 19.9 megapixel sensor records 6K at up to 80fps, 5K at 96fps, 4K at 120fps and 2K at 240fps, with over 16 stops of dynamic range. The body weighs about 1.19kg and records to CFexpress. The integrated micro V-Lock takes professional batteries directly, and the camera supports the DSMC3 touch LCD, 12G-SDI output and PL lenses on RED's RF to PL adapter.
