Sachtler Video 20P Tripod System

The Sachtler Video 20P is a step up from the 18 series for heavier ENG and studio style rigs, such as broadcast camcorders and larger cinema bodies with a matte box and follow focus. It suits anything that needs more counterbalance headroom than a lightweight head.

It is a reliable, no surprises workhorse for run and gun news crews and studio ENG setups alike. The wide payload range means the same head covers a DSLR one day and a fully built out camcorder the next. It is straightforward to balance, and the boost button makes it easier to handle a front heavy camera. Counterbalance and drag are set in steps, so a setup can be repeated and shared between operators on the same job.

The Video 20 S1 head takes 2 to 28kg with 16 steps of counterbalance plus a boost button, and 7+0 steps of pan and tilt drag. It comes on Sachtler's Speed-Lock CF HD carbon fibre legs, a heavy duty two stage set running 56 to 161cm with a 95kg load rating, on a snap plate with the ground and mid spreader in the kit.
