Sigma 18-35mm T2 Cine Zoom (PL)

The Sigma 18-35mm T2 Cine Zoom is a fast, constant-aperture wide zoom for Super 35 cameras, in PL mount. It is the wide half of Sigma's High Speed Zoom Line and replaces several wide primes in one lens.

Sigma built the High Speed Zoom Line to resolve 6K to 8K images in a compact body, and the lens is parfocal so focus holds through the zoom. A constant T2 keeps exposure steady, and nine rounded blades give smooth bokeh, so it works well for interiors, documentary and commercial work.

The lens focuses as close as 27.9cm, weighs about 1.45kg and has a 95mm front diameter with an 82mm filter thread. Focus throw is 180 degrees and the gears are standard 0.8 pitch. The 50-100mm T2 has the same front diameter and covers the longer end, so the two share matte box setups. It is built for Super 35 cinema cameras.
