Sony BP-U35 14.4v 35Wh Battery

The Sony BP-U35 is a compact BP-U mount battery for Sony camcorders and any accessory that takes a BP-U cell. It is a small, quick-charging pack for when a full battery brick is more than the job needs.

It is light and slim enough to suit gimbal and handheld work, while still giving a useful runtime for a small camcorder. A four-step LED gauge on the side shows the remaining charge at 20, 40, 60 and 80 percent, so it is easy to tell at a glance whether it is worth taking to set.

It is a 14.4V nominal (16.4V maximum), 35Wh lithium-ion battery that weighs about 235g and measures roughly 42 x 46 x 70mm. A full charge takes about 90 minutes on the matching BC-U1A or BC-U2A charger, and it also charges on a Hawk-Woods BP-MX2 two-channel charger. It fits Sony camcorders and any other device built around the BP-U mount.
