The ARRI ALEXA 35 is a 4K Super 35 digital cinema camera with ARRI's first new sensor in over a decade. It adds around 2.5 stops of dynamic range, film-like highlight handling and better low light performance.
The 4.6K sensor measures 17 stops of dynamic range, with about 1.5 stops more in the highlights and one more in the shadows than earlier ALEXA cameras. REVEAL Color Science and ARRI Textures give a natural look with in-camera creative control. The sensitivity range runs from EI 160 to EI 6400.
It records 4K at up to 120fps in around 20 ARRIRAW and ProRes formats, including open gate and anamorphic options, with internal FSND filters and in-camera downsampling. The Super 35 4:3 sensor works with PL lenses and most Super 35 and large format glass. It records lens metadata for virtual production and runs on 24V power through its B-Mount.
