ARRI LMB 4x5 3-Stage Matte Box

The ARRI LMB 4x5 is a modular matte box that works as a clamp-on, a rod-mounted or a swing-away unit. It takes three filter stages and fits a wide range of cinema lenses. It suits both high-end productions and run-and-gun work.

The 3-stage set has one two-filter stage and one single-filter stage, with a carbon fibre top and bottom flag. The stages are modular, so the box can shrink to a single stage for a gimbal, drone or Steadicam, or grow to a full rod-mounted build. The set comes with the clamp-on parts needed for a handheld build.

It takes standard 4x5.65 and 4x4 filters in combo trays, and flexible donut adapters fit lenses from 62 to 143mm in diameter. An extra rotatable stage with a tray catcher is available for polarisers and grads. The matte box pairs with ARRI's 15mm lightweight support rods for rod-mounted use.
