The DJI RS 4 Pro is a three axis gimbal for professional filmmakers, built on the RS 3 Pro with a faster setup and improved handling. It carries up to 4.5kg (10lb), enough for most mirrorless and compact cinema cameras.
It adds a more intuitive touchscreen interface and a faster auto lock system for quick setup between shots, and its upgraded stabilisation algorithm keeps footage smooth through moving shots. It works well for handheld, vehicle and Steadicam style work where weight and speed matter.
The tested payload is 4.5kg (10lb) and DJI quotes up to 13 hours of operation on the battery. The Combo adds the accessories that extend the gimbal for bigger rigs, and it pairs with accessories such as the Tilta Power Pass-through Plate. Check the weight of your build with lens and matte box before you plan on it.
