The Magliner Gemini Junior is the film cart used on sets everywhere for carrying camera, battery and lighting kit. It runs on four wheels and folds down for storage and transport when it is not on set.
The truck has large 260mm pneumatic wheels and two medium 220mm braked pneumatic castors near the handle, so it rolls over cables and rough ground and the brakes hold it still while you work from it. Two carpeted shelves protect the kit and keep it from sliding about. It can be folded and disassembled for air or other transport.
This Junior has 24 inch shelves and a capacity of up to 1000lb (454kg). The cart weighs about 86lb (39kg). Upright it measures about 375mm wide, 650mm deep and 1300mm tall, and on four wheels it is about 1210mm long. Accessories such as extra shelves are available for film and video work.
