Tiffen Rota Pola Circular Ultra Polarizer

The Tiffen UltraPol is a strong circular polariser in a drop-in 138mm mount. It cuts glare and reflections and deepens skies and foliage, and you rotate the whole tray to adjust the effect.

UltraPol gives a stronger polarising effect than a standard Tiffen polariser, with about 15 to 20 percent more effect. It removes reflections from water, glass and wet leaves, and pulls more saturation out of skies. Rotating the tray in the matte box is faster than reaching round to twist a front filter.

This is the 138mm size, made from water white glass in an aluminium alloy ring, and supplied in a Bright Tangerine One Tray so it fits any 138mm-compatible matte box stage. The filter factor is 4x, or two stops. It suits exteriors, car work, water and any shot with windows or shiny surfaces. The tray can be turned to follow the light.
