The Tilta Float is a body worn support system that carries a handheld gimbal and its camera on a vest and a spring arm. It takes the weight off the operator's arms, so heavier gimbal builds can be run for longer.
The suspension arm absorbs movement and lets you do long tracking shots and complex moves with a gimbal at the end of it. It combines an adjustable vest, a stabiliser arm and an extension post for the gimbal, and it works with the RS 2 and RS 3 Pro family of gimbals.
Load capacity is 22lb (10kg). The extension post adjusts from about 19.6 to 39.4 inches, the stabiliser arm gives around 31.5 inches of vertical travel, and the vest belt fits from 60 to 120cm. It uses no counterweights. Fit the vest to the operator before adding the gimbal, and check the total weight against the arm rating.
