BLKBRD
BLKBRD Mantis Quad Tube for EasyRig
£180
/ day ex VAT
Payload | 2–18 kg (single); up to 32 kg (dual) |
Mount | EasyRig Vario 5 / Minimax |
Build | Quad-tube elastic dampener |
The BLKBRD Mantis Quad Tube is a dampener for the Easyrig Vario 5 and Minimax that reduces the vertical bounce caused by the operator's footsteps. It makes handheld tracking and walking shots smoother.
The Quad Tube design gives twice the elastic pre load of the dual tube, which widens the neutral zone and increases boom range. It attaches without modifying the Easyrig. A quick release retrofit kit, Mag Lock hooks and a Universal Hook Adapter for lateral balance control are included.
One unit handles payloads from 5lb to 38lb (about 2 to 17kg), and two units used together support heavier cinema setups. Performance depends on fitting the right Light, Medium or Large elastic bands for the weight of your camera, so check the combination before the shoot day. Fitting is quick, and it is designed to work with the Vario 5, Stabil and Minimax rigs.
