4x4 Trace Frame with 250 Diff

The 4x4ft trace frame with 250 diffusion is a small frame pre-rigged with half white diffusion. It is a fast way to soften a small source or take the edge off a hard key without building a full silk rig.

The 250 fabric is a half white diffusion, which spreads and softens a light while losing less output than a heavier cloth. The frame is small enough to hand-hold or mount on a single stand, so a grip can place it between a light and a subject in seconds. It suits interviews, product shots and window light.

The frame is a lightweight aluminium flat-bar design with a 10mm pin for mounting straight into a grip head. At 4 x 4ft it covers a head-and-shoulders shot or a small tabletop. For a larger source, use a 6x6 or 8x8 frame instead, and keep the frame back from the fixture so a hot lamp does not mark the cloth.
