The Sony BURANO is a full-frame 8K cinema camera designed to be compact enough for handheld and gimbal work, with Sony's colour science and built-in electronic ND. It brings the VENICE look to smaller crews.
The 8.6K full-frame sensor gives about 16 stops of latitude and dual base ISO of 800 and 3200, so it copes with bright exteriors and low light. Electronic variable ND, in-body image stabilisation and phase detection autofocus with face and eye tracking help when working with a small team.
It records X-OCN and XAVC to dual CFexpress Type B cards, with 8.6K full frame at 30fps, 6K at 60fps and 4K Super 35 at up to 120fps. The camera takes PL and E-mount lenses. Our package is fully rigged with Bright Tangerine support parts, giving a robust, light setup that suits handheld, gimbal and dynamic camera work.
