The Sony FX3 is the most compact camera in Sony's Cinema Line, a full-frame body designed for solo shooters and small rigs. It combines a 10.2 megapixel sensor, a built-in cooling fan and a removable XLR handle in a body of about 715g.
The full-frame Exmor R sensor and BIONZ XR processor record 4K at up to 120fps with minimal rolling shutter and over 15 stops of dynamic range. S-Log3 and S-Cinetone profiles give a choice between grading and a ready look. The internal fan lets it record for long takes without overheating.
Real-time Eye AF, touch tracking and adjustable tracking sensitivity make autofocus dependable for run and gun work. The 5-axis in-body stabilisation has an Active Mode for handheld shots. The detachable handle adds two XLR inputs, and the threaded mounting points in the body mean a cage is easy to add. The native ISO range runs to 102,400.
