The Sony FX6 is a lightweight full-frame Cinema Line camera for documentary, commercial and run and gun work. It combines a 10.2 megapixel sensor, built-in electronic variable ND and a modular body of about 890g.
The full-frame Exmor R sensor records 4K at up to 120fps in 10-bit 4:2:2 with over 15 stops of dynamic range and low noise at high ISO. Dual base ISO of 800 and 12,800 covers bright sets and dark interiors. S-Log3 and S-Cinetone give a choice between grading and a ready look.
The electronic variable ND lets you adjust exposure smoothly as light changes, without swapping filters. Fast Hybrid AF with Real-time Eye AF and touch tracking helps when working alone. The E-mount takes native E lenses and adapted cinema glass. The detachable handle, 12G SDI, timecode in and out and four audio channels make it a capable main camera for small crews.
